You're reading: 112.ua: ECHR transfers cases of Ukraine against Russia to highest court

The Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) will hand over to the Grand Chamber of the Court four “Ukraine vs. Russia” cases, which deal with human rights violations in Crimea annexed by Russia and on the territories of Donbas that are not controlled by Ukraine. This was reported in the press service of the ECHR.

“The Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights, which considers four interstate declarations filed by Ukraine against Russia, decided to renounce jurisdiction over them in favor of the Grand Chamber,” the report said.
