On August 11, the Russian armed formations violated the ceasefire and fired at the positions of the Ukrainian army in eastern Ukraine. As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded.
“Today, on August 11, the Russian armed formations once again violated the ceasefire and fired at the positions of the Ukrainian defenders in the area of responsibility of the Skhid task force. As a result of the shelling, one serviceman received a shrapnel wound,” the task force said in a statement on Facebook on Aug. 11.
It is noted that after providing first aid, the wounded was transported to a hospital. The soldier’s health is satisfactory.
“The actions of the Russian armed formations were reported to the OSCE representatives through the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Ceasefire,” the task force said.
It was reported earlier that Russia-led forces in Donbas on Tuesday, August 10, fired at the positions of the Ukrainian army, as a result of which three servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received shrapnel wounds, the press center of the Skhid (East) task force said.
