Oles Dovhyi, the secretary of the Kyiv city council, announced this at the session of the city council.

He said initially there were five statements on joining the faction of the Mykola Katerynchuk Bloc from deputies elected to the city council on the ticket of the bloc.

In addition to Oleksii Reznykov and Volodymyr Lanovyi, the statements were registered by Borys Havrylenko, Pavlo Teslenko, and Roman Yaroshenko.

However, the secretariat of the city council received a notification from the political council of the bloc on expulsion of Havrylenko, Yaroshenko, and Teslenko from the faction.

Thus, the faction of the bloc comprises Oleksii Reznykov and Volodymyr Lanovyi.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Katerynchuk Bloc on November 21 decided to reinstate two deputies of the city council of the bloc – Reznikov and Lanovyi.

In June, the Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv said deputies of the city council Havrylenko, Yaroshenko, and Teslenko could not act in the council on behalf of the bloc.

In June, an interparty conference of Kyiv city organizations of the European Party and the European Platform party that formed the Mykola Katerynchuk Bloc for Kyiv City Council elections discharged five Kyiv Council deputies of the Mykola Katerynchuk Bloc.

On June 10, deputies Havrylenko, Yaroshenko, and Teslenko voted to elect Oles Dovhyi as the secretary of the Kyiv city council, although the position of the bloc was against the election of Dovhyi.

This was the reason for the Mykola Katerynchuk Bloc to deprive the five deputies, including Reznykov and Lanovyi who did not take part in the session, of their powers.
