President of the National Olympic Committee Serhiy Bubka, together
with the President of Boxing Federation of Ukraine Volodymur Prodyvus
are to meet with President of the International Amateur Boxing
Association (AIBA) Ching-Kuo Wu on Friday, the press service of the
National Olympic Committee reported.

The report said that the talks between Bubka and the leadership of
the International Boxing Association about the decision of the judges in
the Khytrov-Ogogo fight went on until five o’clock in the morning of
Friday.

As reported, immediately after Thursday’s round 16 fight in the under
75 kg category between Khytrov and Ogogo, where the judges awarded
victory to the British boxer, the Ukrainian team lodged an official
complaint against the results of the fight. The International Amateur
Boxing Association dismissed the complaint on Thursday.

Judges announced Ogogo a winner of the fight against Khytrov, though
the boxers received 18 points each, and the Ukrainian boxer even knocked
his opponent down twice.

The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine earlier announced they
would appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the
results of this boxing match.
