minister, and I have decided that I will remain an MP,” he said live on
the Inter TV Channel late on Friday.
Explaining his decision, Tigipko said: “Now it’s very important for the Regions Party to deal with ideology.”

He said that “the parliamentary elections showed that politics in Ukraine is becoming more ideological.”
“I believe that the Regions Party should respond to this, so we’ll deal with ideology,” Tigipko said.
