Lviv IT company SoftServe is to acquire Polish technology company Coders Center, based in Wroclaw, the Ukrainian company said on Jan. 19.

With this acquisition, the first international deal at such a level for SoftServe, the company will expand its “digital solutions offerings and consulting services, along with software development capabilities,” a notice on SoftServe’s website reads.

The company hasn’t disclosed the cost of the deal.

Outsourcer SoftServe, a company with headquarters in Austin, Texas, and Lviv in western Ukraine, has been creating software products, developing applications, and selling services since 1993. One of the biggest IT company in Ukraine, it employs around 4,000 people in 28 offices in Europe and the United States.

Its acquisition, Coders Center, has four offices in Poland, and customer support centers in the United States, the UK, Sweden, and Germany. It employs around 75 workers.

Coders Center specializes in enterprise content management systems and e-commerce platforms. The company has existed since 2014 and has built custom solutions for around twenty clients. The company is a partner of Adobe and Microsoft.

“…This acquisition supports SoftServe’s strategy of strengthening our platform and cross-vertical industry expertise,” SoftServe CEO Brian Borack said in a statement.

As a part of the agreement, Coders Center’s leading management will occupy roles within SoftServe’s digital team. One of SoftServe offices in Wroclaw will merge with Coders Center headquarter under the buyer’s name within the next few weeks, while the other offices will undergo rebranding, according to SoftServe’s communication department.

“This acquisition will grant our customers and developers access to additional resources and a global network of more than 4,000 technology professionals, enabling us to offer even greater value to modern enterprises,” Coders Center CEO Tomasz Gibas said.
