It’s a perfect match.

U.S. rapper Doja Cat, who explores sexuality through explicit lyrics, appeared in an outfit by Ukrainian designer Ivan Frolov, an ambassador for openly sexual looks and intelligent provocation.

Doja Cat, born Amalaratna Dlamini, performed in a corset dress by Frolov brand at the 2020 YouTube Streamy Awards held in Los Angeles, California, and broadcast on Dec. 12.

“Golden firework of sexuality and beauty by super-hot Doja Cat in Frolov,” the designer wrote on Facebook on Dec. 13. Frolov gave special thanks to his team and stylist Brett Alan Nelson, whose work was behind some of the most memorable looks and daring style of the rapper.

At the ceremony, Doja Cat appeared in a crystal-embellished fringe dress called “Azucar Fireworks.” The look was complemented by a pair of glittery heels and hoops.

Frolov’s garment was created as part of the Spring-Summer 2021 collection “Azucar,” inspired by the color of Latin America and presented in September. The corset dress costs $5,460 and is available for purchase on the brand’s website.

The rapper performed “Say So,” her biggest hit to date, whose remixed version featuring another U.S. rapper Nicki Minaj topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Doja Cat is joining an international list of celebrity fans favoring Frolov’s elegant and sexual pieces. Pop stars Rita Ora, Gwen Stefani and Dua Lipa have previously appeared in Frolov among others.

The Ukrainian brand specializes in couture-to-wear designs, often featuring corsetry and embroidery. Through collections, Frolov explores the boundaries of sexuality and connected topics like sexual services, the BDSM culture, first love and sex discoveries and more.

Frolov is one of Ukraine’s most acclaimed designers. He is a record-holder with five victories in the Best Fashion Production category at the local Best Fashion Awards. He is also the winner of the Kyiv Post’s Top 30 under 30 award in 2019.
