Nikita Khrushchev’s daughter, Rada Adzhubei, dies at 87 in Moscow

Rada Adzhubei’s relatives told the radio station that the farewell ceremony would be arranged only for the beloved ones of the deceased. The time and venue of the funeral ceremony has not yet been reported.

Rada Adzhubei is Nikita Khrushchev’s elder daughter. She was born in Kyiv in 1929. Having graduated from Moscow Lomonosov State University, she worked as a journalist in a number of Soviet and then Russian publications. In particular, Rada Adzhubei worked for the Nauka i Zhizn (Science and Life) magazine for nearly 50 years. Her husband, Alexei Adzhubei, was editor-in-chief of Izvestia in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
