Air raid sirens sounded twice across Kyiv and several other Ukrainian regions in the early hours of Saturday after warnings of a possible Russian ballistic missile attack.

Ukraine’s Air Force warned of a “threat of the use of ballistic weapons from Taganrog,” a Russian city near the Ukrainian border.

The Kyiv City Military Administration urged residents to immediately seek shelter and remain there until the alert ended.

The first ballistic missile warning was issued at 12:44 a.m. A second alert followed later in the night and was lifted by the Air Force at 2:06 a.m.

No missile strikes, damage or casualties were reported.
