Russian forces struck an enterprise and a parking lot in Chernihiv on Friday, injuring eight people and damaging 37 vehicles, local officials said.

According to the Chernihiv City Council and Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Russian drones hit two locations in the city during the day.

“The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked Chernihiv with drones during the day on June 5. At the moment, two impact sites are known,” the city council’s press service said, according to Ukrainska Pravda.

The first strike hit the territory of a private enterprise in the northern part of Chernihiv.

Another Russian drone struck the western part of the city, sparking a fire. Bryzhynskyi said the Shahed-type drone hit a parking lot.
