On Monday, July 3, a Russian attack on Sumy resulted in one fatality and 16 injuries, as confirmed by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

 The city center experienced four Shahed drone strikes, leading to damage to the administrative building and two multi-apartment residential buildings.

 

 

As of 1:00 p.m., 1 person had died, and 16 others had received medical assistance for their injuries. Arrangements for temporary accommodation for the victims are being made, and they are also being provided with medical and psychological support.

The State Service for Emergency Situations said that the Russian attacks have caused significant destruction in Sumys center. Rescue operations are underway to assess the damaged, extinguish any remaining fires, and save trapped individuals. Around 100 personnel from the State Emergency Service and 19 pieces of equipment are currently deployed at the scene.
