Ukraine faced another missile attack on the night of June 23, 2023. Russian forces tried to target a vital military airfield in the Khmelnytskyi region.

According to a Telegram report from the press service of the AFU Air Force Command, as reported by Ukrinform, the attack involved the use of 13 x-101/x-555 cruise missiles. However, the air defense systems effectively neutralized all incoming missiles, with the majority being intercepted in the Khmelnitsky region.

Furthermore, the defenders of the Ukrainian sky also managed to destroy an unidentified type of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

The missile launches took place around midnight and were initiated from the Caspian Sea. Russian forces employed four Tu-95MS bombers to carry out the attack.
