On Thursday evening, June 22, the 11th International Book Arsenal Festival begins in Kyiv. It will be held in the National Cultural, Art and Museum Complex “Art Arsenal” from June 22 to 25.

Despite Russia’s war against Ukraine, the organizers dared to hold the event this year. Arsenal was not held in 2022 due to the unstable situation.

A book fair awaits visitors at the Arsenal, where local Kyiv bookstores will be on hand with their titled tomes. Books published from July 2022 to June 2023 can be viewed and browsed in the New Showcase.

In addition, the organizers have prepared 100 events on different stages, at which more than 200 guests will perform. Visitors will be able to listen to discussions with the participation of Timothy Snyder, Dmytro Kuleba, Peter Pomerantsev, Ukrainian military personnel, writers, artists, and others.
