The SSU detained the enemy informant in Donetsk region in late May.
Investigators have identified his russian ‘supervisor’: Aleksey SHINGIRIOV, employee of the 9th directorate of the FSB’s 5th service.
On his instructions, the agent scouted the positions of command posts and logistics warehouses of Ukrainian troops, conducting covert surveillance of the facilities.
The invaders used his data to carry out missile strikes on the infrastructure of Kramatorsk airfield.
The investigation established that the agent had used one of the messenger apps to pass the intelligence. He posted the collected information in closed groups especially created by the FSB, such as Channel for our own, On the wing, lnr14, as well as in private chats.
The SSU documented the facts of subversive activities of the russian informant. He was notified of suspicion of committing a crime; the court ruled to keep him in custody.
After completing the investigation, SSU investigators sent the indictment to court.
The court found the accused guilty under Article 114-2.3 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on transfer, movement of weapons, armaments and ammunition to Ukraine, movement, transfer or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under martial law).
