Russian forces shelled Kherson on Tuesday, Feb.21, Kherson Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin reported.

“Kherson is under fire, presumably by Grad missile systems. There are about 20 explosions. Stay in shelters or safe places,” he warned.

Various Kherson media outlets, citing witnesses, have also reported that there were explosions in the city. From the videos available, there are numerous victims at a bus stop.

According to Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Kherson Defense Commandant's Office, at least six people have been killed, and about 12 or more wounded due to Russian troops' shelling of a public transport stop in Kherson. The data is being clarified.

Today Putin once again stated in his speech to Russia’s Federal Assembly that Russia is not fighting against “ordinary Ukrainians” and that the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions are part of the “Russian homeland.”
