“The report is untrue. There were no National Guard personnel in Krasny Lyman, nor are there any now,” the National Guard said in a statement.

It added that the National Guard does not use weapons against civilians or sick or wounded people.

Earlier, the prime minister of the “Donetsk People’s Republic,” Alexander Borodai, said, citing the commander of the unilaterally proclaimed republic’s military forces, Igor Strelkov: “We have pulled out of the town of Krasny Lyman and left the hospital of that town with wounded people inside. The National Guard shot dead the wounded at the Krasny Lyman hospital without leaving a single person alive.”

Borodai did not say how many people had allegedly been killed.
