Old Car Land

The annual exhibition of vintage vehicles, Old Car Land, is about to kick off in Kyiv. This year the festival has moved from the State Aviation Museum to the territory of the National Expocenter of Ukraine. The exhibition will showcase cars, buses, motorcycles and bicycles produced in various countries in the 20th century. The oldest cars featured at the Old Car Land were made 80 years ago. Some of the vehicles are one-of-a-kind, and some used to belong to famous people, the organizers say.

What the Fest?

A festival of vegetarian food, eco-friendly products, and sustainable living will take place in Kyiv’s Vsi Svoi D12 Hall. There will be lectures and book presentations on the topic, and a market for eco-products, cruelty-free foods and clothes. The organizers promise no ethical moralization, but a fun and informative space with a children’s playground and live music by Nude Voices, DJ Tapolsky, and others.

The Maneken

Caribbean Club welcomes Ukrainian band The Maneken, with a show dedicated to the band’s 10th anniversary on stage. Formed in 2007 by Yevhen Filatov, composer and a sound producer of the Ukrainian bands Onuka and The Elephants, The Maneken became known after the release of the album “First Look” in 2008. The band will perform some of their electronic, indie, pop hits in Kyiv on Sept. 29.

Barometer International Bar Show

Kyiv’s annual Barometer International Bar Show will bring together bar staff from all over the world and cocktail lovers next weekend. The bartenders and representatives of 24 bars from 11 countries will come to Kyiv to give spectacular shows and treat the audience to their tasty cocktails. The festival will also hold lectures and tastings for guests.
