While answering a question about former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Monday, the Russian politician said: “[Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia] Tymoshenko, I’m sorry, is a woman. I don’t like them, as it’s easier to persuade a woman. [Ukrainian President Viktor] Yanukovych is better. Women are more compliant, and it’s dangerous.”
He said that women are very impressionable and this does not help them in power.

“There should be dry calculation in politics, there should be no poetry, and there should be no mood like ‘mom, dad, like, don’t like.’ Give women power … apparently, they are against war, but war will even get worse,” he said.
