A respective decision was taken at a commission meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Poroshenko will stand for parliament as an individual self-nominee in
district No. 12 in Vinnytsia region, while his father, an individual
self-nominee, a Vinnytsia Regional Council deputy, Oleksiy Poroshenko,
was registered as a candidate for MP in district No. 16.

The commission also registered as candidates current MP Pavlo
Unhurian (a member of the Batkivschyna Party) in district No. 63
(Zhytomyr region) and individual MP Volodymyr Herasymchuk in district
No. 216 (Kyiv).
The commission registered 128 self-nominated candidates on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Parliamentary elections in Ukraine are scheduled for October 28.
