This is almost the same place where five Ukrainians died in an earlier bus crash on the night of March 5.
At that time, a bus with 55 passengers and two drivers, crashed into a fence and rolled off the same viaduct while heading to the southern Polish border with Ukraine.
Both drivers were sober according to the police, who didn’t find drugs in their blood.
According to Beata Stazhetska, deputy district prosecutor in Przemysl, authorities opened an investigation into the first crash but haven’t announced charges so far.
“The Consulate General of Ukraine in Lublin is cooperating with Polish law enforcement agencies to clarify the circumstances of the accident, provide consular assistance to the victims,” Nikolenko wrote on Twitter.
