“On the one hand, the transfer of the enterprise was scheduled for
2007. After the decision on the construction of a multifunctional arena
was made, we needed to accelerate. Of course, this entailed additional
financial costs. I would leave the full cost of moving ‘behind the
scenes.’ An additional Hr 20 million was spent on the quick move. These
funds were provided by investors attracted by UBI,” Ostrohrud told
Interfax-Ukraine.
According to him, in general, the transfer of the company and all of
its production facilities took almost two months. The official opening
of the plant is scheduled for September.

“The rapid movement made us to slightly revise our growth plan. Our
main goal for 2013 is to preserve the performance of 2012. Most
production facilities will be launched by the end of September. We want
in 2014 to reach our previous figures and plan future growth,” he said.
The company at the new location will retain production of more than
90% of the entire range, which consisted of 2,000 items of medical
products, goods for consumers, and those for industrial, sporting,
agricultural and other purposes. Kyivhuma exports up to 50 percent of its
products to Russia, Kazakhstan, and other CIS countries.
