The newspaper correspondents found offers to sell Slavutas on some Web sites. It was expected than the last car would be made on September 19, 2010, while in fact the last car was made in late January 2011: the plant produced an additional consignment worth UAH 50 million under a state order, the newspaper said.
As reported, AutoZAZ-service distributing company, part of the UkrAUTO Corporation, held the online auction.
Mass production of the ZAZ-1103 Slavuta started in March 1999 at CJSC ZAZ.
Over 12 years the plant produced over 140,000 Slavuta cars, of which 130,000 were sold on the Ukrainian market.
