Keys picked the hat for the Billboard’s Women in Music Impact Brunch, which took place on Dec. 12 in Los Angeles. The singer paired it with a navy singlet and a pair of striped wide-leg trousers.
“This girl is on fire,” Baginskiy’s Instagram post reads, referring to one of the biggest Keys’ hits.
The designer predicted his creation’s future success. “You don’t know it yet, but our new hat will become your new fav,” one of the brand’s Instagram posts reads.
Since then, a number of celebrities fancied the piercing boater hat by one of Ukraine’s most prominent designers.
U.S. singer Janelle Monáe, fashion stylist Elizabeth Sulcer, Canadian model Coco Rocha, French model Cindy Bruna, fashion influencers Taylor LaShae and Yoyo Cao were noticed wearing Baginskiy’s new hat over the last couple of months.
They have joined an impressive list of Baginskiy’s fans, which includes singers Madonna and Miley Cyrus, models Bella and Gigi Hadid, Natalia Vodianova, Paris Hilton and many more.
Baginskiy has been recognized as the Best Accessories Designer by the local Best Fashion Awards three last years in a row. He rose to success after crafting his famous baker boy caps only to continue winning the international audience with a number of other stylish pieces, such as leather berets, straw fedoras and felt gamblers.
Baginsky is also one of the 2018 winners of the Kyiv Post’s Top 30 Under 30 Awards, which celebrates young Ukrainian leaders from all kinds of fields.
