Dark and dramatic shots of Kyiv’s Darnitsky Bridge and its nearby industrial spaces have been used in yet another western music video, this time featured in the British rapper Stormzy’s new hit video for the track AUDACITY.
The grime and hip hop star is known for his stylized use of urban spaces in his videos, winning Best UK Urban Video for “Vossi Bop” at the 2019 UK music video awards.

This is not the first time Stormzy has come to Kyiv to film a music video. In 2018 Stormzy and UK singer Jorja Smith recorded a video for their hit song Let Me Down.
Stormzy has just released four more tracks other than AUDACITY including Vossi Bop, Wiley Flow, Crown, and Own It for his upcoming album Heavy is the Head.The new release will include 16 tracks and is set to be released on Dec. 13.
It is not the first time the Ukrainian capital’s Darnitsky Bridge has been featured in a foreign music video.
In November 2018, Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson filmed at the bridge for their video “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart”.
The bridge was also featured in a recent BMW ad this October showing a man using the advertised car’s audio system while listening to music and driving along the iconic bridge.
Kyiv’s architecture has been featured in quite a few foreign music videos and commercials over the years. More than 20 foreign music videos and commercials were filmed in Kyiv in 2017 alone. The South Korean boy-band NCT filmed their music video “BOSS” featuring Kyiv’s soviet architecture and National Library of Ukraine.
