On the Independence Day of Ukraine on August 24, a concert of the Grammy-winner Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli will take place in Kyiv on Constitution Square, the Ukrainian Embassy in Italy said.
“On the anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, a landmark event will take place in Kyiv, a concert by the world-famous Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli. The maestro will present the Voice of My Soul program in support of the creation of the Museum and Cultural Center for Contemporary Art of Ivan Marchuk,” the embassy said on its Facebook page.

It is noted that during the concert, the pictures of the Ukrainian artist will come to life on the screens, intertwining with the graceful arias of the Italian tenor, which will create an incredible multi-dimensional art canvas for the viewer.
The performance will be accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine conducted by Marcello Rota and Hryhoriy Veryovka National Honored Academic Ukrainian Folk Choir of Ukraine.
“The event will take place on August 24 at 17:00 on the Constitution Square (open-air near the Mariinsky Palace),” the embassy said.
