The commercial was shot in Kyiv’s Central Railway Station, as well as in the city’s Zoloti Vorota metro station. At the beginning of the ad, viewers can hear a railway station announcement being made in Ukrainian.
The commercial features a man skate-boarding around the railway station while listening to music with a new Apple Watch and wireless headphones.
The new smart watch, which can connect directly to a cellular network, rather than having to be linked to a supporting iPhone via Bluetooth as in earlier models, can stream 40 million songs right from the user’s wrist, according to the video.
According to information from ain.ua, a Ukrainian website focused on IT-business and startups, the Ukrainian film service production company Radioaktive Film took part in the shooting of the commercial.
The company refused to comment, saying that to do so would break certain terms, which they would not specify.
Radioaktive Film has previously been involved with the shooting of the music videos for Coldplay’s song “Up&Up,” Paolo Nutini’s “Iron Sky” and Hurts’ “Wings,” as well as advertisements for Lexus, Lenovo, and Nike.
Moreover, recently jeans brand Diesel presented a new advertisement shot in Kyiv.
The video features young people with cross-eyes, braces, tattoos, and scars, and promotes non-standard beauty.
