Karabadgak shoes is a brand founded in April 2015 by Tatyana and Alexey Kurgan. Karabadgak offers bright, colorful shoes made of Italian leather and textiles. Some models were shown during Ludmila Kislenko’s fashion show at this year ‘s Ukrainian Fashion Week, which was on March 17-23.
The brand offers various boots, desert shoes and ballet flats in its new collection. Prices vary from Hr 2,300-2,500. The brand’s shoes can be found in the Gallery 48 concept store at 48 Antonovycha St. Its shoes also can be ordered online through its Facebook page. Delivery in Kyiv is free.
Emmelie Delage
Emmelie Delage is a Kharkiv-based brand founded by Yana Kovalyova, which offers stylish Chelsea boots, loafers, sneakers, ballet flats and slip-ons.
The brand has its own shop in Kharkiv. The shoes are also sold in Kyiv, in concept store Chrom (Chromium) at 12 Bulvarno-Kudriavska St. near Teatralna. metro station. The brand’s catalogue is available on emmeliedelage.com and on its Facebook page. The average price for a pair of shoes is Hr 1,500. Emmelie Delage also offers a delivery service through the Nova Poshta mail service.
L.A.P.T.I.
L.A.P.T.I. is a brand of footwear created by Aleksandr Vernik in 2015. The brand offers shoes made from high-quality materials from Italy, Spain and France. The manufacturer is located in Odesa.
L.A.P.T.I. became famous because of its casual collections in bright colors and unusual designs made in cooperation with Ukrainian designers and brands Iryna Mussatova, Ksenia Schnaider, and Anna Karenina. The latest collection of slip-ons are decorated with cute images of children and angels, by Ukrainian artist Eugenia Gapchinska.

Kachorovska atelier
Kachorovska is a family business founded in 2011 by the couple Alina and Bogdan Ocheryatny. The atelier and brand showroom are in the same building, 35A Borychiv Tik St. in Kyiv’s historic Podil district. The brand makes various models of shoes from Italian leather and textiles. Ukrainian designer Svetlana Bevza featured shoes by Kachorovska during her fashion show at this year’s Ukrainian Fashion Week.
Customers can choose the materials, color and design of their shoes using sketches available in the atelier. It takes around one-and-a-half months to make each pair of shoes. The cost varies from Hr 1,300-2,000 for shoes and Hr 2,000-4,000 for boots.
Fatyanova
Kharkiv native Christina Fatyanova created her brand in 2013. The designer makes massive leather boots with tractor soles and elegant desert boots in pastel green, violet, yellow and beige colors. Fatyanova sells her shoes via Instagram and Facebook. Her shoes can also be found in Okno Vo Dvor (Window at the Courtyard) concept store at 2 Shevchenko Ave near Bessarabska Square. A pair of shoes costs Hr 1,500-2,000.
