Ukraine’s domestic spy agency, the Security Service (SBU), says it “neutralized” a network of alleged Russian agents who were gathering intelligence on defensive lines of Ukrainian troops and the deployment of Air Force aircraft.
“The SBU’s military counterintelligence exposed a defense official for gathering classified information about Ukrainian fighter jets and air force infrastructure” in the Zhytomyr region, the agency said on its Telegram channel.

In the south-central Dnipropetrovsk region, the SBU said on April 27, two “agents” allegedly working on behalf of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), who tried to infiltrate local territorial defense units.
In the southern Mykolayiv region neighboring parts of Russian-occupied Kherson region, the SBU exposed the head of an unnamed territorial community who “was passing information about the Armed Forces to the occupiers.”
A local female suspect in the Khmelnytsky region was identified who passed information to Russians on the coordinates of Ukrainian military objects.
A truck was seized in the central Cherkassy region transporting military components that were destined for Russia, the SBU said.
