The office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reassured that all efforts will be made to ensure transparency regarding the military aid the country continues to receive. The following Presidential Office statement was made today, Thursday, July 14:

Foreign military aid is extremely important for Ukraine, that is why the Ukrainian leadership is interested in the maximum transparency of the process of receiving it, so that no hostile propaganda can affect it.

This was stated by Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak during a meeting with President of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty Jamie Fly.

The Head of the Office of the President would like to propose to the people’s deputies of Ukraine to establish a temporary special commission in the Verkhovna Rada, which will deal with issues related to control over the use of weapons received from partners. According to Andriy Yermak, the idea is to create an optimal model of parliamentary control over the use of foreign military-technical assistance.

Therefore, according to him, the leadership of Ukraine is doing everything possible to make the process of receiving and using partners’ assistance as effective as possible.

The people of Ukraine seek the fastest possible end to the war started by the Russian Federation against us, on Ukrainian terms, the Head of the President’s Office noted.

According to him, it is extremely important that foreign military correspondents work in combat zones and show the world the truth about this aggression, Russian war crimes, the heroism of the Ukrainian nation, as well as the way our soldiers use help from Ukraine’s partners.

Andriy Yermak emphasized that against the background of the crisis happening in the world, it is important for Ukraine that the topic of aggressive war against our country remains in the focus of international attention.
