President Zelensky paid a visit to a school in a Kyiv suburb on the Knowledge Day. The premises of the school in Irpin were damaged during hostilities in March but restored before the start of the new academic year.
“We are working to ensure that every Ukrainian educational institution damaged by the war resumes its operation, that our children are safe, and that nothing prevents them from acquiring knowledge.” he said.

Zelensky inspected the organization of education at the school and spoke with teachers and pupils.
He also took part in the ceremony to sell the newly-issued Patron Dog postage stamps for charity.
All funds raised via the @U24_gov_ua fundraising platform will go to buy the Armtrac 400 demining machine.
Patron is a Jack Russell Terrier that works as a detection dog for the Emergency Services of Ukraine.
A sheet of stamps depicting Patron was issued this week by state postal provider Ukrposhta.
