‘Who Will Join the Meat Grinder?’ – Russia Reassigns Drone Operators, Sparking Z-Blogger Criticism

A growing number of ad hoc units in the Russian army that have reduced available infantry personnel for assault operations could be why Moscow is throwing drone operators into the grinder.

Kurtiev urged the residents of Zaporizhzhia not to spread information about the airstrikes on social networks or in comments on Telegram channels, or elsewhere, such as chat rooms, due to concerns of safety.

“Do not write or post photos and videos about where exactly the explosions took place. Now is not the right time for ‘hype’ at all. Even if the photo or video is ‘blurred’, you can still calculate the coordinates from it,” he stressed.

Kurtiev argued that whilst communicating in chats, people should be vigilant as it cannot be certain that there are no enemy collaborators, artillery observers or other accomplices of the Russians present.
