The missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces performed more than 230 fire missions in southern Ukraine on July 21, with Ukrainian aircraft launching eight strikes on enemy positions and reserves.

The Operational Command South said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

“The enemy continues to defend, holding on to retreat lines. After suffering losses, the personnel of the 34th separate motor rifle brigade of the occupation forces is refusing to fight. In the evening, the enemy launched a desperate airstrike near Potiomkyne. Without our losses, the enemy cowardly retreated,” the report said.

It added that Ukrainian aircraft made eight strikes on enemy positions and reserves, with five strikes launched by bomber and attack aircraft and three by helicopters.

Ukrainian forces struck five Russian strongholds and two ammunition depots in the Skadovsk and Beryslav districts of the Kherson region, as well as a concentration of enemy personnel in the Mykolaiv region.

The missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces performed more than 230 fire missions, eliminating 35 Russian soldiers and destroying a Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, two reconnaissance drones, three armored vehicles and eight vehicles.

In the Black Sea, the enemy keeps two warships armed with 16 Kalibr cruise missiles.

“In the Transnistrian direction, the situation is stably controlled by the defense forces. The state border is reliably protected. The activity of the military contingent forces on the territory of the neighboring state is not recorded,” the Operational Command South said.
