According to Yermak, among those returning from captivity, many had previously been listed as missing, causing fear and heartache to the relatives of the soldiers.
The head of the President's Office guaranteed that Ukrainian authorities continued to work on the return home of all prisoners of war as soon as possible. "All our people will be at home. We are working on this further. And each exchange brings us one step closer to this goal," the head of the President's Office stated.
He added that the coordination headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war fulfils the task set by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, to return all prisoners home as soon as possible. The head of state outlined this task as one of the key objectives of his government.
