Over 300 people have been detained in Belarus and are pending judicial proceedings following protests on Nov. 29, the Belarusian Interior Ministry said.

“A total of 313 people were put in detention centers around the country yesterday for violating the law on mass events before courts hear their administrative cases. Inquiries have also been opened in line with criminal proceedings into facts of active resistance to police officers and blocking roads to traffic,” Interior Ministry spokesperson Olga Chemodanova said on her Telegram channel on Nov. 3o.
