The frequency of gunfire exchanges has decreased in the Luhansk Oblast over the past 24 hours, the press service of the head of the Luhansk regional military-civilian administration, Hennadiy Moskal, has reported.

Fighting has subsided in the sector of the Luhansk Oblast, controlled by Ukraine, over the past 24 hours, for the first time in many days,” he press service said.

But there were exchanges of fire with automatic rifles and grenade launchers outside the town of Krymske. Ukrainian forces’ strongholds were targeted in automatic rifle fire near the towns of Troitske and in Stanytsia Luhanska, the press service said.

The skirmishes were not long lasting. No casualties were reported. Neither housing, nor infrastructure was damaged.

Mine sweeping efforts are underway at cemeteries and adjacent territory in all populated areas along the disengagement line, the press service said.
