The situation in Donetsk remained extremely tense as of 1830 on Thursday, the Donetsk City Council reported on its Web site.

“The sound of salvos and explosions were heard in the city all day on Sept. 25,” the report says.

According to the report, a shelling attack damaged a gas pipeline in the city’s Kirovsky district at around 2.30 p.m.

“A total of 138 consumers have had gas supplies cut off,” the report says.

Energy supply companies worked to restore the damaged lines on Sept. 25, the report says.

“Thirty-four transformer substations remain without power. Work to resume power supply to them is continuing now,” the report says.
