Ukraine will suspend electricity imports from Russia from Nov. 11, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn has said at a briefing.
“We’ll stop receiving electricity from Russia from Nov. 11,” he said.
Demchyshyn said electricity imports from Russia would end due to the commissioning of the third unit of Rivne nuclear power plant, which will enable Ukraine to dispense with the need to buy electricity abroad.
