Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by the end of 2019 to prepare a plan on restructuring of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.
“To prepare a restructuring plan for Ukrzaliznytsia, including with the aim of liberalizing the locomotive traction market and increasing the transparency and efficiency of Ukrzaliznytsia’s activities,” he said at a meeting of the president with members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada and law enforcement officials in Kyiv on Sept. 2.
The president appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk and Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy responsible for the preparation of the plan.
