You're reading: Wizz Air launches flights from Odesa to six European cities

The Hungarian low cost airline Wizz Air performed its first flights from Odesa to Budapest (Hungary), Berlin (Germany), Gdansk, Wroclaw, Katowice (Poland), and Bratislava (Slovakia) on November 1-4, 2019.

According to the press service of the airline, flights on these routes will be carried out twice a week. Their cost is from UAH 429 one way with cabin luggage.

“Remaining loyal to the Ukrainian market, we are very pleased to start flights from Odesa. Thanks to the launch of flights to Slovakia, Poland, Germany and Hungary, Wizz Air continues to further open new opportunities for Ukrainian passengers to travel and make air travel even more affordable. We are convinced that the launch of routes will continue to contribute to the development of the economy, aviation and tourism of these countries,” the airline said.

As reported, from March 2020 Wizz Air launches flights from Zaporizhia to Gdansk, Wroclaw, Krakow (all in Poland), Vienna (Austria), Vilnius (Lithuania), and Budapest (Hungary).

Wizz Air, the largest low cost carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, offers flights on more than 600 routes from 25 bases, connecting 145 destinations in 44 countries. The airline’s fleet consists of 120 Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 aircraft.
