The Commission of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine has decided to recommend the head of the service to provide SkyUp Airlines with the right to operate the Kyiv-Budapest (Hungary) – Kyiv and Kyiv-Istanbul (Turkey) – Kyiv airlines from May 1, 2020.
According to the decision published on the regulator’s website, along the flight route to Budapest, in particular, SkyUp is allowed to perform regular international flights four times a week, along the flight route to Istanbul – three times.
In addition, the State Aviation Service canceled the rights of Atlasjet Ukraine airline to operate the Kyiv-Istanbul-Kyiv (three times a week) and Odesa-Istanbul-Odesa (seven times a week) and refused Azur Air Ukraine to fly along the flight route Kyiv-Istanbul-Kyiv (seven times a week).
In addition, the regulator did not consider the statements of Eleron and Meridian airlines regarding obtaining the right to operate air lines for carrying out air transportation in other states.
