Prices in the industry of Ukraine in April 2018 remained unchanged after growth by 0.3 percent in March, 1.2 percent in February and 4.4 percent in January, the State Statistics Service has reported.
In annual terms, in April this year the growth of producers’ prices slowed to 14.1 percent from 15.9 percent in March, 19.6 percent in February and 22 percent in January.
The main reason is the sharp decline in prices of metal ores (3.7 percent down), sugar (2.3 percent) and coal (1.2 percent).
Since early 2018, industrial prices in Ukraine grew by 5.9 percent.
As reported, growth of industrial prices in 2017 slowed to 16.5 percent from 35.7 percent in 2016 and 25.4 percent in 2015.
