The Epicenter K group of companies (Kyiv) plans to expand its chain to 53 shopping centers by the end of 2018 by opening five new outlets in Khmelnytsky, Lviv, Zakarpattia, and Donetsk regions.
A new Epicenter K shopping center on Popova Street in the town of Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytsky region, will open on August 18, the company told Interfax-Ukraine.
The commercial area of the facility will be 3,300 square meters, while the outdoor area will be 830 square meters.
In addition, Epicenter K plans to open a shopping center in the town of Kramatorsk in Donetsk region by the end of the year. Its area will be 17,500 square meters. What is more, three shopping centers of small areas will open in Khmelnytsky region’s Slavuta (4,800 square meters), in Lviv region’s Drohobych (4,800 square meters) and Zakarpattia region’s Khust (4,400 square meters).
Thus, the company is implementing a strategy for the development of small-sized trading centers with an area of 2,000-6,000 square meters in regional centers and towns of regional subordination.
LLC Epicenter K was established in 2003 and opened the first hypermarket in Kyiv in December the same year.
