The Ukroboronprom State Concern has appointed Oleksandr Donets President of Antonov State Enterprise (Kyiv). Earlier he was appointed acting president of the enterprise.
The press service of Antonov told Interfax-Ukraine that Donets was appointed on May 30.
The press service said that the new president of Antonov was officially presented the staff of the enterprise on Thursday by Ukroboronprom Director General Pavlo Bukin.
Presenting the new head, Bukin expressed hope that the newly appointed president would ensure the solving of the key problems of the enterprise and would continue its development.
Antonov State Enterprise is the leading Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of aircraft, the recognized world’s leader in the niche of transport aircraft for wide purposes.
According to the government decision, Antonov has been part of Ukroboronprom state concern since April 2015.
