Poets of the Fall concert

Finland’s Poets of the Fall will be presenting the new album “Jealous Gods” to the Kyiv audience. The album has 11 brand new songs – both lyrical ballads and rock compositions. The performance will feature theatrical elements.

Mercedes-Benz Kyiv Fashion Days

Mercedes-Benz Kyiv Fashion Days traditionally mixes the shows by well-known Ukrainian designers and fashion debutants. This season the event will showcase the Spring-Summer 2015 collections at the NSC Olimpiysky sport complex. An invitation will be required to attend the venue during the designers’ shows. Invitations can be requested from the designers’ offices. The general area of the event will be free for entrance upon registration on the website at www.mbkievfashiondays.com.

Music of Italian Renaissance

Italian band Festina Lente will perform the music of Renaissance composers as part of Suono Italiano series of concerts. Spectacular music of Luis Venegas de Henestrosa, Diego Pisador, Jacques Arcadelt, Diego Ortiz, Philippe Verdelot, Cipriano de Rore, Marcantonio Negri, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Luis de Narváez, and Aranes Juan will be performed by the flute, lute, viola da gamba and the splendid tenors of the band’s vocalists.

Future Generation Art Prize 2014

The art works that made it to the finale of the international contest of young aspiring artists will be exhibited in Pinchuk Art Centre. This year’s participants are from Ukraine, France, Italy, United Kingdom, USA and many more countries. The winner of the $100,000 prize will be announced in December in Kyiv.

Georgian concert

Outstanding Georgian singer Aniko Dolidze will perform a tribute performance to Giya Kancheli, Georgian composer who wrote music for movies and theater, including the pearl of Soviet Georgian cinematography – movie “Mimino” (1977). The vocal of Dolidze will be complemented by piano, guitar, flute, violin, drums and contrabass.

Prosto Music Video Festival

For those who dreamt to
dive in the world of music video making, the festival will be a good
place to meet show business celebrities, popular directors and actors,
learn from their experience of video filming and music making, and
participate in a production of a music video. Famous Ukrainian musicians
Druha Rika, Jamala, TNMK, Zhenya Milkovsky, SKAY will be sharing their
experience with the audience.
