YUNA Music Awards

The Yearly Ukrainian National Awards (YUNA) praises the work of Ukrainian show business, acknowledging their dedication, creativity and talent. Ten categories with five nominees in each include Best Artist, Best Music Video, Best Song, Best Duet and more. Celebrating the third year of its existence, the YUNA will include performances by Ivan Dorn, Jamala, Alloise, Kamaliya, Skryabin and many more.

“Anonymous” by Roland Emmerich

A 2011 historical drama, upon release of which, critics had a lot of questions and controversial talks. “Anonymous” portrays Lord Oxford as a true author of Shakespeare’s plays. In 2012 the movie was an Academy Awards nominee for Best Achievement in Costume Design. The movie won in six categories at the German Film Awards 2012. “Anonymous” is screened in English with English subtitles.

Metalist vs. Dynamo

Kharkiv’s Metalist will play Kyiv’s Dynamo in the Ukrainian Cup Quarterfinal. The teams will meet at Kharkiv’s Metallist stadium. Dynamo fans in Kyiv can watch the live stream of the game here at smotrisport.tv or at Metalist’s official page www.metalist.ua.

Chelsea Grin

First time
in Ukraine, the band Chelsea Grin is coming to surprise. The American deathcore
band was founded in 2007. By 2014 Chelsea Grin released two EPs and two albums.
The repertoire includes songs with particular strong lyrics, making their music
sound very ominous and sometimes even sinister.
The set list will include the old hits and a few new songs from the
upcoming album “Ashes to Ashes”.

Circus in Kyiv

National Circus of Ukraine is preparing a big show for children and their parents. This time it is an international show with a performance by the International Circus “Gratner Brothers,” featuring giant Indian elephants, a clown trio and jugglers, magicians and acrobats.  Various circus animals will perform to amuse and bring joy to the audience. Port Mone

Coming from
Minsk, Belarus, this band charmed the hearts of the audience with their unique
fusion of folk, noise, experimental music and classical tunes. Founded in 2006
the band consists of the accordionist, bassist and percussionist. Together with
the Ukrainian “DakhaBrakha,” Khmelnaya project and Serhiy Zhadan, Port Mone worked
on creating a modern soundtrack to a 1930 Ukrainian silent film “Khlib” (“The
Bread”). Its new show the band is going to take to Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odessa.
