‘Cinderella. A Magical Musical on Ice’

Gift shopping at UAmade Fest

UAmade Fest is a place to shop holiday gifts and decorations. It will provide six entertainment zones. One will be able to pick up gifts in X-mas, eat and drink in Food, shop hookahs and snow slides in Cool, enjoy games and master-classes in Animation, have a break in Lounge, and take a picture with Santa and his elves in the Photo zone.

Love Parade Concert

The concert of live electronic music dedicated to Love and hippie life euphoria, Love Parade, will feature electro music bands – Cepasa, Fontaliza, Charlie, Koloah, Mavr, Vlad Fisun, Buivol, Cape cod, Artur Avorski and many others. So, make (electronic) love, not war.

Fairy-tale winter in Podil

The right place for many festivities in Kyiv, Podil neighborhood will host another festival right before the holidays. Fairy-tale winter celebrations will offer hay and willow sculptures of the characters of Ukrainian traditional fairy-tales, festive traditional dishes and drinks. This is our take on gingerbread houses springing up across Europe.

Tut Use Christmas Market

Tut Use (Everything’s Here) Christmas Market is a holiday version of the art picnics thrown by Ukrainian TV host Slava Frolova. Taking place on the weekend between Christmas and New Year’s Eve it will offer a variety of usual holiday attractions for any taste and age, including pop-up restaurants, hand-made goods fair, and master-classes.

‘Kings of the Step’

The “Kings of the Step” performance will take place on the New Year’s Eve in Kyiv. The leading dancer is Volodymyr Shpudeyko, a choreographer, teacher, theater and cinema actor, and member of the International Tap Association.

Loboda and The Hardkiss New Year Concert

The concert of Svitlana Loboda and The Hardkiss is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see two Ukrainian pop music sensations on one stage. It is also a nice New Year celebration option. The highlights of the show will be the Loboda ballet performance and the stereo show by The Hardkiss, a daring glam pop rock band.

St. Nicholas Race

A holiday costume race is a nice option for an active Sunday. Adults will be able to run five kilometers and kids (six to 12 years old) can run a 500-meters distance. One can participate without a costume, but they will miss the best costume contest. Each participant will get a Santa Claus hat. The organizers plan to set the record of the biggest race in Santa Claus hats in Ukraine. Registration is required at svmykolayrun.org.
