Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has said that Kyiv has set up a committee on imposing sanctions on Russia.

“The Ukrainian government creates a committee to impose sanctions on
the Russian Federation. It will include representatives of the Foreign
Ministry, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry and the financial
unit of the government,” he said, while opening a government meeting on
Wednesday, July 23.

Yatsenyuk also ordered the committee to offer a list of persons and sanctions within ten days.

“A list of persons and sectoral sanctions against Russian entities
and individuals who support and finance terrorism in Ukraine, encroach
on the independence and territorial integrity of the Ukrainian state
should be submitted for consideration by the government within ten
days,” he added.
