The government will present a draft state budget for 2015 at the Verkhovna Rada on Dec. 23, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yastenyuk said.
“Tomorrow the finance minister will introduce a law of Ukraine on the state budget, and ministers will present relevant legislative acts. Nearly 40 bills will be submitted for the government’s consideration and adoption,” Yatseniuk said before the opening of the government on Dec. 22.
Yatseniuk expressed hope that the parliament will approve improved legislation from the Cabinet of Ministers, which will allow for the launch of a reform program, as conduction reform in Ukraine falls under the joint political responsibility of parliament, the coalition and the government.
