Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland discussed the peaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine and the implementation of the Minsk agreements in Kyiv on July 16.

“Yatsenyuk said that Ukraine is committed to the implementation of the Minsk agreements and for its part is observing them. At the same time, Ukraine demands the fulfillment of all the obligations under the Minsk agreements by Russia,” the government’s press service said in a statement.

Nuland praised the results of Yatsenyuk’s visit to Washington and the outcome of the Ukraine-U.S. investment conference, which took place on July 13, as well as the results of Yatsenyuk’s trips to Canada and the UK.

“During the meeting, they discussed the most pressing topics of the internal and external situation of Ukraine,” the report reads.
