You're reading: Yatsenyuk initiates control over financing of early parliamentary elections

The Cabinet of Ministers has tabled in the Verkhovna Rada a bill on amendments to supplement No. 3 to the law on Ukraine's state budget for 2014 (regarding control over the financing of early elections of people's deputies of Ukraine on Oct. 26).

The bill was registered on Oct. 9, according to the Web site of the parliament. The text of the document is not yet available.

The bill was initiated by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

Early parliamentary elections in Ukraine are scheduled for Oct. 26.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated Hr 957.8 million from the reserve fund for parliamentary elections.
